We have started our year long tree art project. Each season we will decorate our tree to match our class tree outside. Each child will have his/her picture taken in front of the tree and added to the appropriate tree.
Our pumpkins are growing! We are learning how a pumpkin grows. We are visiting our Outdoor classroom each week to observe how are pumpkins are growing in the raised beds. In this picture you can see all the stages of the growth except the seed and the orange pumpkin. Do you see the jagged leaf, the vine, the flower and the new green pumpkin. Remember all pumpkins are green when they start to grow. We hope to have an orange pumpkin very soon. Watch for more pictures! :)
